Staff action required
Neither the first request nor the follow-up leaves automatically.
FuneralHQ lets a staff member send a review request from a completed case, records the ask, and surfaces one follow-up after 14 days when no review has been recorded. The workflow stops after two asks. Broader aftercare sequences are still being designed with working firms.
Who it is for
What it replaces today
A named staff member decides each time. FuneralHQ supplies the guardrails and the record.
The request becomes available only after the case is completed and the location has a review URL.
FuneralHQ suggests the informant’s email and first name, while staff confirm who should receive the request.
A staff member sends the branded email from the case. The date is recorded and replies return to the funeral home.
After 14 days, an eligible case appears in a staff queue if no review has been recorded.
Staff may send one final reminder. FuneralHQ then blocks further requests for that case.
Neither the first request nor the follow-up leaves automatically.
Open and cancelled cases cannot send a review request.
The first request and one optional reminder are the permanent ceiling.
A recorded review prevents another request from being sent.
Each location controls the review link used in its request.
Check-ins, resource sequences, and multi-channel aftercare campaigns remain in development.
Yes. Staff can send the first request from a completed case, see when it was sent, and work a follow-up queue after 14 days.
No. A staff member initiates each request. The follow-up queue is a reminder for staff, not an automatic campaign.
At most twice: the first request and one optional reminder. If a review is recorded, the workflow stops earlier.
No. Broader check-ins, practical-resource messages, and multi-channel sequences are still in development.
Send the first request, inspect the recorded history, and see how the one-follow-up limit works.
